Day 1

Arrive in Tripoli: Explore the charming city of Tripoli with its souks and Italianate streets and squares and enjoy a meal in a lively restaurant.

Day 2

Ruins of Sabratha: The ancient Roman city of Sabratha is one of the most well preserved sites in the world today with a spectacular theatre over looking the sea.

Day 3

Magnificent Leptis Magna: The city of Leptis Magna is one of the highlights of any Libyan tour. An extensive site, Leptis Magna was once one of the most extravagantly appointed cities in the Roman Empire.

Day 4

Tripoli Museum and Depart: The Museum in Tripoli is a "must-see", housing one of the largest collections of classical art in the world as well as the remarkable Qaddafi gallery.

This tour gives you a sample of Libya. Tripoli is a bustling and cosmopolitan city with its ancient medina, gold souks and shopping for all tastes. If you prefer to watch the world go by there are cafes in Green Square where you can sip a mint tea and enjoy a shisha pipe. This short break visits the splendours of both Sabratha and Leptis Magna, arguably the most spectacular Roman ruins outside of Rome. You will be taken around the sites by expert guides and have plenty of time to wander at your own pace.
