Day 1

Arrival in Lebanon: Transfer to your hotel in Beirut.

Day 2

Beirut: Spend the morning taking in the many sites that the city of Beirut has to offer including the National Museum. In the afternoon, you will venture slightly north of Beirut to visit the beautiful Jeita Cave.

Day 3

Byblos and Tripoli: This morning visit the picturesque seaside town of Byblos. You then travel further north to Tripoli where you will get the opportunity to explore the bustling souk – and then it is on to the quiet mountain town of Bcharre in the Qadisha Valley where you will overnight.

Day 4

Qadisha Valley: This morning you will visit the Gibran Museum, which houses many paintings and drawings as well as some of the manuscripts of the Lebanese poet and painter, Kahlil Gibran. In the afternoon you travel further into the Qadisha Valley to see the the Cedars of Lebanon and then on to Baalbeck for an overnight stay.

Day 5

Baalbeck and Anjar: Visit the legendary site of Baalbeck, with its majestic Acropolis. Continue on to the walled city of Anjar also located in the Beqaa Valley. Transfer back to Beirut for overnight.

Day 6

Mir Amin Beiteddine Palace Hotel, Lebanon

Beiteddine Palace and the Chouf Mountains: This morning visit the 19th century Beiteddine Palace which holds a wonderful collection of Byzantine mosaics. In the afternoon you will transfer to the Chouf Mountain Reserve where you will have the chance to explore and take in the fresh mountain air.

Day 7

Tyre and Sidon: Today you will have the opportunity to visit the wonderful coastals town of Sidon and Tyre. Visit Sidon's sea castle and wander through the towns colourful souk. In the afternoon continue south to Tyre. In the early evening transfer back to Beirut for your last night in Lebanon.

Day 8

Departure: Transfer to airport for flight home.
